It comes across in a very realistic way.

Towards the end Julie Simone brought in a second camera. They differentiated the film shot by the second camera by making it very grainy; I enjoyed this extra touch. They also utilized the fact that Gia’s character arrived at the loft on the pretense of an audition as a way of torturing her later on, forcing her to recite lines from the script while having sex with Master Liam.

This film is perfect for those times when you want to see spanking and flogging but you don’t want to see anything truly hardcore.
